We had a great day with our guide at the Tonlé sap. We are usually not fan of tours, but our guide was very interesting and we felt like his new friends. We loved to learn more about cambodian culture country and history. Our guide even added his personal details and opinion so we could have a better understanding of life in cambodia today and back in the days. The explanation of the guide was for sure the best part of the tour for us, because we did not do much more then going on the lake and see some crocodiles in a cage. I would recommend him to my friends!
I’ve been traveling quite a lot in my life so far and I’m not the kind of person that would usually look forward for guides or tours. Most of the time I try to avoid these things and try to do everything by myself (with wikipedia’s help to understand the places I go to). Consequently, when my friend told me he had booked a tour with guiddies I was shocked, but in the end, it has been a wonderful journey and one of my highlights in Cambodia. It has made me realize the worth of a guide that knows much more than you and even then Wikipedia about the places you want to visit. It takes the whole experience to another level to hear the story of Noy Muny our guide for the day at Tonle sap lake. I really recommend this tour to learn more about Cambodia, the guide is willing to share everything he knows and patient to answer all your questions.
What an incredible journey we had with this guide! He was very kind, attentive and generous of his time. He made use smartly of his vast knowledge by providing us a lot of interesting informations, but not too much so we would not forget everything. Whether it be when he told us about his personal experience (by which I was moved), when he gave us his opinion about the future of his nation or when he spoke about the history of Cambodia, he always managed to keep our interest awaken. This is for sure an encounter I will remember for a long time! I highly recommend this guide.
Me and my three friends had an amazing day with Mr Muny. He was very kind, and generous of his time by answering perfectly to all our questions. He made use smartly of his vast knowledge by providing us a lot of interesting informations, but not too many so we would forget everything. Whether it be when he told us about his personal experience, when he gave us his opinion about the future of his nation or when he spoke about the history of Cambodia, he always managed to keep our attention. We would highly recommend Mr Muny to anyone who wish to do a tour on Tonle Sap Lake !
